Right finger size is necessary to have a comfortable and positive experience of wearing a ring, especially when you’re wearing natural healing crystals.

FIVE Types of Ring Size Measurements

Guide to AtPerry’s Ring Size Setting: What the digits tell you to do

When you’re buying at AtPerry’s all you need to lookout for is this Ring Size Guide. Just like units and scales change when you go out of your home country, different countries and continents use varied ring size settings too.

ISO standards of 1986 confirm that ring size must conform to the inner circumference of the unit of millimeters and different countries have ring sizes based on varied units and scales.

·       USA and Canada

Ring size measurements in the United States and Canada are based on a scale with quarter and half sizes;

·       UK/ Australia/ Ireland/ South Africa

Ring Sizes in the countries mentioned afore use ring sizes based on an Alphabetical scale denoting whole and half sizes.

·       Germany/ Russia/ Ukraine/ Asia

These countries generalize ring finger sizes on the basis of a scale with whole, half and quarter sizes.

·       India/ China/ South America/ Japan/ Israel/ Turkey

A numerical scale without any fractions, halves or quarters, but just the whole numbers form the basis of ring sizes in the above countries.

·       Italy/ Spain/ Switzerland/ Netherland

An odd rule to have, the countries above record ring sizes based on the total circumference subtracted by 40mm;

How to Find your Fitting Ring Size

Guide to AtPerry’s Ring Size Setting: What the digits tell you to do

An easy exercise that requires no more than a ruler and twine, finding the fitting ring size helps in avoiding the effect of growing out of your ring too.

  1. Take the twine and wrap it snugly around your ring finger or the one you’d like to wear it on.
  2. Mark the intersecting point of the twines.
  3. Now measure the marked length using a ruler.
  4. Compare it in millimeters or inches with the table to find your size.

Yet another method is to use a printable ring size guide.

Her favorite quote on Crystals is from Annie Dillard- "Crystals grow within rock-like Arithmetic Flowers. They lengthen and spread, adding plane to plane in an awed and perfect obedience to an absolute Geometry that even stones- maybe only the stones- Understand".
