Description
The Miraculous Medal follows the design Saint Catherine Labouré described after her 1830 visions in the chapel on the Rue du Bac in Paris. The front shows Mary as Our Lady of Grace, ringed by the French prayer "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee" and the year 1830. The back carries the M, the cross, the two hearts and twelve stars.

Will this turn my finger green?
It depends on the metal, and each piece names its own. Sterling silver and stainless steel are the least likely to mark skin. Plated pieces keep their finish longest when you keep them dry and away from perfume and lotion. If a piece is not as described, you have 60 days to send it back.

How do I care for it?
Take it off for swimming, showering and the gym, keep it away from perfume, lotion and chlorine, and wipe it with a soft dry cloth. The description of each piece adds any care notes of its own.
