A larger, ornate take on the Miraculous Medal: the engraved image of Mary as Our Lady of Grace, set in a scalloped frame of stainless steel. The medal follows the design Saint Catherine Labouré described after her 1830 visions in Paris.

It depends on the metal, and each piece names its own. Sterling silver and stainless steel are the least likely to mark skin. Plated pieces keep their finish longest when you keep them dry and away from perfume and lotion. If a piece is not as described, you have 60 days to send it back.
